It’s bookworm bliss in Bundaberg with table upon table overflowing with hardcovers and paperbacks from 50c each. Don’t forget to check out the $2 clothing sale, and stop for a bite in the cafe.

Bookfest categories
26 categories including children’s books, paperback, hardback, cooking, hobbies and more. There is also a large selection of CDs, DVDs and soft toys.

The cause
Money raised at Bookfest supports the 24—hour Lifeline 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line. This life-saving service offers suicide prevention and bereavement support over the telephone as well as family and crisis support - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Money raised also support UnitingCare Community programs for individuals, families and children in crisis.
